Swine: Ceftiofur Sodium sterile powder is indicated for treatment of swine bacterial respiratory disease associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Maemolytica, Salmonella cholerasuis and both Streptococcus suis typeⅠ& typeⅡ, etc. Cattle: Ceftiofur Sodium is indicated for treatment of bovine respiratory disease (shipping fever, bacterial pneumonia) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Histophilus somni.
Dosage and Administration
Swine: Reconstitute with 100 mL sterile water for Injection. Shake thoroughly prior to use. Administer to swine by intramuscular injection at the dosage of 2.0 mg/kg of body weight ceftiofur. Treatment should be repeated at 24-hour intervals for a total of one to three consecutive days. Cattle: Reconstitute with 80 mL sterile water for Injection. Shake thoroughly prior to use. Administer to cattle by deep intramuscular injection at the dosage of 1.0 mg/kg body weight ceftiofur. Treatment should be repeated at 24-hour intervals for a total of three to five consecutive days. ※Withdraw period： Cattle: 5 days. Swine: 3 days.
